Flags at the Seaside
Red and yellow flag
To help you stay safe at the seaside, there are different flags which tell you different things.
This red and yellow flag marks out areas in the sea where a lifeguard is patrolling. This tells you that there is someone there to watch out when you are swimming.
If you want to go swimming in the sea, you should only swim in between these two flags because this is the safest place to do so.
Do not swim outside this area because there won't be a lifeguard watching which may put you in danger.
